  • Click “Check Availability” on any of the listed BIKE PICKUP & RETURN POINTS, you can also choose “DOORSTEP DELIVERY” for getting your bike delivered at your doorstep in the selected LOCATION
  • Click “ADD TO CART” to add single or multiple bikes in Booking Cart (You can select multiple bikes from multiple BIKE PICKUP & RETURN POINTS as well)
  • Check the cart for final changes
  • Fill in the details of all riders
  • Pay minimal advance amount
  • Receive booking confirmation on email & SMS with your BIKE PICKUP & RETURN POINT Google Map address
  • Arrive in Goa, visit BIKE PICKUP & RETURN POINT address (you can also use Google Maps location sent in booking SMS) or can call customer support on (0)8975883773 for locating address in case of further difficulty
  • Show your booking SMS, show driving license of each rider, give one original Govt. Photo ID as deposit per bike & pay the balance amount (for multiple BIKE PICKUP & RETURN POINTS, pay balance amount each PICKUP POINT as given in each booking SMS)

BIKE BOOKING

WHAT IS START & END DATE?
Date range in which you want to rent the bike in Goa. Start Date is when you pick-up your bike from the pickup point & End Date is when you will have to return your bike to the same point which is the Return Point.
WHAT IS LOCATION?
LOCATION is the major area in Goa in which you want to have the bike delivered & returned. For example, the capital city of Goa, Panaji is called the major Location & so is Calangute, Baga, Anjuna. Each LOCATION has its own different BIKE PICKUP & RETURN POINTS.
WHAT IS BIKE PICKUP & RETURN POINTS?
During booking one can choose among the major LOCATION in Goa, these each major LOCATION selected on home page will have one or more bike “PICKUP & RETURN POINTS”, each of these points shall have availability of variety & quantity of bikes. Bikes have to be collected by the customer at these Pickup points & returned to the same points on time.
WHAT IS DOORSTEP DELIVERY?
During booking, one can select “Doorstep” to get the bikes delivered at their hotel (Before or after arrival), near airport, near railway station or the near bus stop at a minimal flat fee of Rs. 200 per bike for delivery & return. For example in a hotel doorstep delivery, customers can choose to have their bike delivered even before their arrival time in the hotel in Goa. If customer checks doorstep delivery & customer’s location is too far, then the message of “Customer is too far for doorstep delivery” is displayed. In that case, customers can continue by selecting listed BIKE PICKUP & RETURN POINTS & continue booking as a regular booking where customer has to visit the BIKE PICKUP & RETURN POINT.
CAN MY BIKE BE PICKED FROM A PICKUP POINT & RETURN AT DIFFERENT RETURN POINT?
No, the bike collected from the PICKUP & RETURN POINT mandatorily has to be retuned at the same point.
I HAVE BOOKED MULITPLE BIKES FROM MULTIPLE PICKUP & RETURN POINTS; CAN I HAVE ALL BIKES DELIVERED & RETURNED ONE POINT?
No you cannot. Pickup & return of each bike have to be mandatorily done at their respective point only. Each point has fixed assigned bikes & can only be delivered & returned from those points only. Bikes belonging to each PICKUP & RETURN POINT can be seen as displayed on the website (as per availability to selected dates).
DO I NEED TO REGISTER TO USE PATRAO?
Yes. Registration is asked only when the customer has finished selecting the choice of their bike. Customer can choose to register by Google/Facebook account or by our 3 step simple registration. The registration helps customer to RESCHEDULE/EXTEND or CANCEL the booking.
DEPOSIT MONEY TO BE GIVEN DURING BIKE PICKUP?
No deposit money is taken during average season, but there can be a deposit taken in PEAK TIME. The deposit money shall be collected from the customer while collecting the booked bike & refunded during the return subject to any external damages/bike document loss is found on the bike return.
DO I HAVE TO SUBMIT ANY DOCUMENTS DURING BIKE PICKUP?
Yes an original Government issued photo ID per bike is required to be handed over as deposit during Bike pickup which will be given back during bike return. The original government ID has to of either the rider or the pillion rider. No bike will be given if the one original photo ID card is not given as deposit.
WHAT IS THE TYPE OF ORIGINAL GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID ACCEPTED AS DEPOSIT?
  • 1. ADHAAR CARD
  • 2. PAN CARD
  • 3. PASSPORT
  • 4. EMPLOYEE ID CARD ISSUED BY GOVT/DEFENCE ONLY (No private sector employee cards allowed)
WHAT IF I OR THE PILLION RIDER DOSENT HAVE/FORGOT TO BRING ANY OF THE ID CARD?
As per our Terms & Condition as agreed by the user customer during booking, bike shall not be given if the Photo ID of the rider or the pillion is not given by customer as deposit & hence no refund shall be given to customer.
IS BOOKING SMS ENOUGH OR HAVE TO CARRY PRINTOUT OF BOOKING E-MAIL FOR TAKING DELIVERY OF THE BOOKED BIKE?
Yes SMS is enough. If SMS is not available with customer, then customer can even show the email of the booking on mobile or as a print copy.
CAN I GET BOOKING SMS AGAIN IF BOOKING SMS IS DELETED OR NOT DELIVERED AFTER BOOKING?
Yes by the following steps.

  • 1. Login
  • 2. Update the contact number
  • 3. Go to the MY BOOKINGS
  • 4. Click GET SMS on confirmed booking
CAN MY FRIEND USE MY CONFIRMED BOOKING?
Yes, sure they can but provided:

  • 1. An email to be sent by the registered user to bookings@patrao.in stating the reason for rider change with Rider Name, contact number & email address.
  • 2. New rider when arriving at the bike PICKUP POINT, must have the valid booking confirmation SMS from the customer, new rider’s original valid driving license & original Government issued photo ID
  • 3. A verification call will be made to the registered user for confirmation.

If and only if the above 3 conditions are met, the booking shall be considered as transferred. If not booking will be terminated and no refund will be provided.


FEES

HOW DO YOU CALCULATE RENT PER DAY OF A BIKE?
Like that of Hotel & Hospitality industry, we have our standard bike rental START TIME from 9am to END TIME of 9pm. Any booking received within this time range of the day, has to be returned by 9pm the same date. If the customer has booked bike with return date & time as next day before 9am, then overnight night rent of 50% of previous day rent is calculated as per following:

  • 1. For Vehicle return time selected before 8:30 AM = 1.5x rent
  • 2. For Vehicle return time selected After 8:30 AM up to 9 PM = 2 day rent
Example: 1
Start Date : 01.01.2016, 11:00AM
End Date : 02.01.2016, 08:30AM
Rent/day : Rs. 300
Total Rent Payable = 300(first day rent) + 150 (50% rent of first day for overnight)
= Rs. 450
Example: 2
Start Date : 01.01.2016, 11:00AM
End Date : 02.01.2016, 10:00AM
Rent/day : Rs. 300
Total Rent Payable = 300(1st day rent) + 300 (Since any minute
on or after 9:00 AM is considered 2nd Day,hence 2nd day rent)
= Rs. 600

  • Booking confirmation strictly subject to bike availability in the Customer support executive’s booking moment
IS IT SAFE TO USE MY DEBIT/CREDIT CARD ON THIS SITE?
All transactions on PATRAO are secure & safe; our payment gateway is best-in-class.
THE BOOKING CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD OWNER NEEDS TO BE ONE OF THE RIDERS?
No, not required. Customer having the booking SMS to be holding a valid driving license for the booked bike.

RESCHEDULING/EXTENSION

I HAVE CHANGED PLAN & WILL BE ARRIVING AFTER A WEEK?
Patrao is simply best known with its customers for the ease of convenience it provides. Rescheduling Policy allows our customers to reschedule booking at their convenience within 30 days of existing booking.

HOW SHOULD I EXTEND MY EXISTING ON-GOING BIKE RENTAL PERIOD?
Extension of existing on-going booking is easy with Patrao, but solely subject to availability of same bike. Customer can check availability & extend the same bike rental period as per extension policy by following the below steps:

IF I EXTEND MY EXISTING ON-GOING BIKE RENTAL PERIOD WITHOUT INTIMATION, WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
At Patrao we do not compromise on commitments given to customers. The following shall apply on each bike rented in addition to per day rent:

  • Late Fee as applicable as per individual Renter till the bike is received back at the return point.
  • Rider shall never be allowed to book bike again on PATRAO.IN
  • No reason/excuse whatsoever shall be entertained and the customer will be liable to pay full amount.

CANCELLATIONS

Can I cancel my booking online?
Yes, but subjected to as per the following Cancellation Policy:

CANCELLATION REFUND (Of Paid Booking Amount)*

How can I cancel my booking online?
3 steps easy cancellation process as follows:

  • Click on the “Cancel & Reschedule” item in the menu on home page (www.patrao.in) & Enter your booking number
  • Enter the One Time Password sent to the registered user’s mobile number
  • Click cancel & confirm
WHAT IF MY TRAIN/BUS/FLIGHT IS DELAYED & I AM LATE FOR PICKING UP THE BIKE
We truly understand the uncertainty involved in traveling. Hence only on prior communication with the pickup point contact number or our customer support, we keep the booked bike of the customer. Kindly refer our No Show or No Communication Policy given below.

REFUND

I DID NOT GET THE BIKE DELIVERED AT PICKUP POINT. DO I GET REFUND?
As Terms & Conditions PATRAO provides a 100% refund of the paid advance amount if booking is missed due to either PATRAO or its PICKUP & RETURN POINT handler’s mistake. However, if the Bike is missed due to any other reason not directly related to PATRAO or its network partners, refund is given purely based on Cancelation Policy.
I HAVE CANCELLED THE BOOKING, WHEN SHALL I RECEIVE THE REFUND AMOUNT BACK?
Refund amount is credited to customer’s account within 7-10 WORKING DAYS.


GENERAL

WHO IS REGISTERED USER?
Registered user is the one who signs up during the bike booking process & confirms the One Time Password or OTP check.
REQUEST/QUERY HAS BEEN PLACED BY EMAIL. HOW MUCH TIME WILL IT TAKE FOR THEIR REVERT?
We respond emails only during the working hours from 9am to 7pm. Revert will be solely based on the email queue & date of Bike pickup priority. If customer needs urgent revert on the status of their request, it is recommended to call on our Helpline number 0-8605337733.
WHAT IS PEAK TIME?
Peak time are the days when there is tourist rush in Goa especially during Public holidays, weekends & from October Month to January Month. The fees of the Peak Time are always higher than regular or weekend rent.
